Traditionally used in bookbinding, it reinforces spines by securely attaching signatures while keeping the backbone of the book flexible, and it is equally effective for connecting cover boards. The open weave allows excellent adhesive penetration, creating a reliable bond favored by professional bookbinders and conservators. Beyond bookbinding, this versatile cloth can be folded into small pads for cleaning purposes.
